You've all been asking and thinking that we are part of a franchise and until now we were a single store.  The popularity of having a community based running specialty store that gets involved with it's community by sponsoring races and the individuals in the community is very much needed.  We all like having our own store where they know our name and know what we like and to put us into product that works with our bodies for the activities that we participate in with the price at one we can afford. 

So by popular request and years of research American Running Company Inc. has decided to expand.  We wanted to do it eventually but the time has come now for us to begin.  You are all getting anxious to live the American Dream and own your own store in which you carry passion for.

I know what it's like to wake up every day and look forward to going to the store to await the new customers and the friends that come in to tell you about their training or problems and to be able to assist them.  It feels good, and as a customer, I personally like having the individual treatment where someone actually listens to what I'm doing and how I'm feeling to guide me in the right direction of what I should be using.

Most locations are still available - however the Tampa Bay market is closed.  The key to success is to respect your competitors along with yourself.  Their is enough business for us all but we want to be careful not to over saturate our markets.  We have extensive research and guidelines so that this will not happen.  Our biggest concern is to not have a store on every corner.
